I'm a girl turning 24 next weekend, and my parents are pestering me about what I want. I still live with them in this bad economy, in central West Virginia. I work from home as a graphic designer. I'm buying a new Mac laptop (yuck) for work this weekend but since it's for work, I'm going to buy it as a business expense. Here's a list of things I like, could you suggest what I might ask for?
-Video games (currently playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, have all the systems)
-Second Life
-Cooking, especially Italian food and desserts
-Cosplay and sewing
-Musical theatre (but too far away to see Broadway shows regularly)
I don't really like a lot of stuff…

I'd be pissed at this too tbh! It's nice that he's made a friend, but he seems to be ditching you a bit and spending more time with her. It is probably all innocent, but just mention your concerns to him
