I see so many times these guys feel like they don't want their ex-wife to get any money from them…
I don't understand why they don't see that this money is going to help feed, clothe, and keep a roof over their own child's head….I think they have delusions that they are keeping you in jewels or furs or something.
It is a very unrealistic view of what is important and what is needed and expected of them…
Children deserve to be supported by both parents….and to do less than that is irresponsible and against the law…..

a man that is that rich does not trust people that easily, they are use to people taking advantage of them…so if he doesn't want to pay child support its most likely that he believes that you are going to use the money & that its not for the child….try & talk to him in person & let him know the truth or keep on fighting this in court & let the payment be automatic

my pathetic excuse for a human being ex husband never ever payed child support. NEVER. when i was a single mother of 3 of his children and of course he ain't gonna pay now, when i am married the secind time. this year i asked him to pay ONCE for plane tickets for our elder son to go to my mother for vacation and he of course said no and he doesn't have money. i tried to reason with him – he told me i should count on my own money. so my conclusion – some people are pigs, u can not change them, so why deal with them. pretend he never existed and continue your life instead of aggravating yourself all the time. do not u worry – when kids grow up they will understand what a piece of shite their father is and when he is old and useless they will not come visit him so he will die in misery. i sure hope that will happen to my pathetic excuse for a human being ex

I hear your frustration. I knew an Israeli guy who married a NY gal years ago who ran out on their marriage. Never paid a dime child support. She filed the paperwork of his owing back support…They caught him many years later in Manhattan on a business trip from Israel and garnished his accounts here to pay back more than 6 figures!!! And he was jailed for a year too.

Anyone. be they male or female not paying child support and we ell off working should be jailed. As far as what i think about your husband, he wants no part of the kids really. He is using them against you because he is a super control freek. If he starts the pattern again, rery to hold him in criminal contempt of court….refile for back SUPPORT, PLUS interest for the FIRST time too. Get even more dough. Also, change the support order. It can be done, by asking for more money based on his earning and also, based on you need more for them . A good lawyer or divorce support group comes up with ways to validate an increased inn support. .
