Do these home based businessess that are being advertised by internet and calling really work and are really legit..OR ARE these work at home nothing but scams ??

Which ones are you talking about? There must be tens of thousands of them out there and some of them have to work. I'd be very careful about it though. There's usually a catch to it with some package you have to buy, referrals and all sorts of other garbage. I'd also be careful even from recommendations from well-meaning friends who try to recruit you into what they themselves are getting suckered into. "Be your own boss!" "MAKE $150,000 A MONTH WORKING PART TIME! NO SELLING REQUIRED!" you know all sorts of stupid **** like that are all red flags. Also, "Management Trainees" and "36 Openings left" are all indicators that some jerkoff is trying to stroke you good. You can start your own home business without having to buy someone's bullshit kit. You can get yourself a good book on starting your own homebased business and get all sorts of ideas from that too.

Most of the ones online are scams, but you could make money online by selling on your own site or selling through affiliate programs.
