If I were to start a home based business in the UK selling pottery on line and at pottery fairs and such, how much could I expect to earn? I really want to find out if handmade pottery is actually desirable enough to start making and selling it full time.

No u will fail. Harsh but true. There are pottery companys that have been established for years that r going bust these days. I am 24 and I can tell u not 1 person I know would by pottery these days. It's an old fashion thing. Get a proper job and do it on the weekend maybe sell them at local events.

you WILL NOT FAIL ifyou want to make it work, however you should consider that the pottery business in going to be hard to break into, i would not have thought you would make millions with this , but you might earn some extra money, dont invest loads of your own money or anyone elses into this as you might not get a return, have it as a sideline for extra pennies , dont give up day job
